In what would have been an average day for Louisville, Kentucky, police, they ended up being involved in a nail-biting car chase.
The police pursuit that started in Louisville ended in an Indiana field, just off of St. Joe Road.
The initial pursuit began in Louisville close to 5pm when Louisville police officers attempted to pull over a vehicle they believed has a suspect wanted for second-degree robbery.
That attempted traffic stop was at Miller Lane and Fitzgerald Road, that is in the area of Dixie and Cane Run. The suspects however had other intentions as they sped away from Louisville and led police on a chase into Indiana through New Albany and rural parts of Floyd County.
LMPD contacted Indiana State Police who were involved in the pursuit until the chase ended in a field and the suspects were taken into custody.
