Teen Drowns Nephew In Bathtub Then Dumps Him In Trash

A 6-year-old autistic boy in Seattle, Washington met an untimely end Monday after his uncle visiting from Texas held him underwater until he drown in the bathtub. Police say 19-year-old Andrew Clayton Henckel was babysitting 6-year-old Dayvid Pakko when he drown him, wrapped his body in a blanket and dumped him in the trash.

Pakko was reported missing later the same day according to court documents.

The child's body was found around 2 a.m. Tuesday in a dumpster located outside the family's apartment in Lynnwood, a suburb in northern Seattle. Court documents also reveal Henckel is over 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, he grabbed the 48 pound boy and held his face underwater but no motive was specified. Henckel's public defender appeared in court with him on Wednesday and revealed Henckel is also on the autism spectrum.

Court documents said when police showed interest in the dumpster during the search for the missing boy, Henckel walked away at that exact moment. It is not clear if Henckel has admitted to the crime or exactly what evidence connected him to the murder. Henckel is currently being held on $1 million bail for the murder.
