A felony arrest warrant has been issued for actress Rose McGowan, best known for her roles in "Scream", Quentin Tarantino's "Grindhouse" and "Death Proof" and also for dating singer Marilyn Manson.

The warrant was issued for felony possession of a controlled substance and one has to wonder if the warrant is related to her rising popularity as an activist against sexual harassment in Hollywood. When child actor and singer Corey Feldman threatened to come forward with the names of powerful figures he claims molested him as a kid, he was immediately arrested for marijuana, which is technically legal in California. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained the warrant February 1 and attempted to contact McGowan to appear in a Loudoun Country, Virginia court but after failing the warrant entered the national law enforcement database making her capture a requirement by law enforcement to come in contact with her nationwide.
Recently McGowan was one of the figures who came forward against Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein claiming he had raped her.
