Massive Earthquake In Iran May Be Sign of Global Seismic Activity to Come

A massive 7.2 magnitude earthquake on the Iran/Iraq border has left at least 6 confirmed dead. Initially, Iran's state media mouthpiece Fars offered a figure of six confirmed dead in the border town of Qasr-e Shirin. This figure conflicts with the 2 dead and 25 injured that governor Faramarz Akbari noted. At least four are also dead in Iraq as the earthquake struck portions of the northern border according to the Kurdistan Regional Government's Health Minister Rekawt Hama Rasheed.

The earthquake is measured as a 7.3 by other sources who say it struck only 19 miles from Halabja. At least 14 provinces in Iran appear to be affected by the earthquake according to figures from the Iranian ILNA news agency. U.S. Geological Survey confirmed the quake and measured it's epicenter as around 19 miles outside of Halabja and issued an "orange" alert for "shaking-related fatalities and economic losses." Warnings related to seismic activity in China were ignored prior to the Middle East earthquake warning issued the 6th: “The Middle East must watch near Central Iran for upper M5.0 to lower M6.0 earthquake activity this week due to a HIDDEN M6.3 earthquake which struck China, and was deliberately ignored by the USGS.”

The website DutchSinse had predicted earthquakes in the US beginning in the middle of September. Last week at the site a warning of "global earthqakes" in the West coast of the USA, Japan, Asia and Europe was predicted at the site. A week-long warning had been issued as of November 6. Dutchsinse also pointed out how earthquakes in Oklahoma and offshore of Texas were related to manmade fractures of the crust due to offshore drilling.
