According to the Department of Homeland Security, they've taken down another vicious pedophile, this time in Brockport, New York.
Authorities say that 30-year-old Roland Yockel of Hilton, who was also a teacher at Brockport Central School District, was involved in an international child pornography scheme.
The United States Attorney overseeing the case says that Homeland Security in Phoenix, Arizona first became aware of Yockel when they were in cooperation with investigators in New Zealand tracking the child sex ring across international lines.
During their investigation agents were able to identify several pedophiles who were able utilize the internet-based app chatstep.com in order to receive and distribute child pornography through their networks.
A New Zealand investigator acting undercover observed multiple individuals accessing chatstep.com chat rooms on May 22nd and July 24th, including one suspect who was using the online username “Ryancba”.
The same individual also posted links to image files depicting suspected child pornography, which was probable cause enough to get a warrant.
The IP address traced back to the suspect, Roland Yockel, in which the sexually explicit images included pre-pubescent children engaged in sex acts with adults.
United States Attorney James Kennedy emphasized that given Yockel’s access to young children in his career, federal agents working on the case are seeking the public’s help in order to determine whether there are additional minor victims.

If convicted of these Chet fed, Yockel could face 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
