The Federal Bureau of Investigation has announced that they have arrested a Texas Border Patrol Agent who they say produced and shared child pornography on the internet.
According to the criminal complaint heard in front of a federal courtroom, 34-year-old United States, Border Patrol Agent Paul Casey Whipple was investigated after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was contacted by an unspecified law enforcement agency to report illicit files it believed were shared by an IP address in Hondo.
After the FBI began to investigate those files, they noted that some videos being shared depicted a prepubescent minor female child, who was being sexually assaulted by adult men.
Upon obtaining a search warrant for the residence, they raided the home this past Tuesday where they recover multiple electronic devices found to be in possession of multiple folders containing graphic and sexually explicit rape videos of young children.
Once the FBI had detained Border Patrol Agent Whipple, he admitted to the Federal Bureau of Investigation that he had not only shared the explicit files but was responsible for the production of many of them, according to<a href="http://m.mysanantonio.com/news/local/article/Border-Patrol-agent-charged-in-child-porn-case-12447971.php#photo-12720495"> My San Antonio</a>.
Upon further examination of the images and videos found, FBI agents determined they were produced in Hondo between 2015 and November of this year.
While it remains unknown what exactly such an admission of producing the child pornography entails in Whipple confession; inside of the criminal complaint against Whipple, it not only has he admitted to producing the videos but also to sharing them on the internet.
The complaint also says he told the FBI he had "access" to a minor child on a number of occasions, and she is under the age of 18, which mean he was directly involved in the filming of the molestation and rapes of the young girl in the footage.
Absolutely disgusting, and if convicted Whipple could face fifteen to thirty years in a Federal Prison.
"The kids are bait, and it’s very lucrative and common that adults are seeing kids as sexual objects, and we just need to stop that because it’s not okay,” said Dottie Laster with the Heidi Search Center.
"Parents need to understand what access means. It means internet, phone, third party introducing them, geography. All they need is access, people that will exploit children,” said Laster.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Chestney ordered the disgraced pedophile child molesting Border Patrol Agent held without bail until an additional Federal hearing next Tuesday, due to the Federal Charges of Production of Child Pornography.
