White House senior adviser Stephen Miller came prepared to defend President Donald Trump on his guesting at Jake Tapper’s “State of the Union” show on CNN Sunday. But Tapper seems unprepared and impatient with Miller’s passion and instead cut him off during the interview.
According to the Business Insider, the interview with Tapper became so heated that CNN people opted to have Miller escorted out of the network premises. The Business Insider is also quoting two sources who allegedly said that Miller was “politely asked” to leave the studios after the taping several times. The same sources added that Miller supposedly refused to leave, forcing the network to call in security and escort the White House senior official out of their studios.

Tapper was asking Miller’s opinions about the controversial anti-Trump book “Fire & Fury: Inside The Trump White House” by Michael Wolff. Miller managed to turn the tables on CNN, and hurled criticisms about the network. He also described his boss, President Trump, as a “political genius” and lamented his treatment during the interview.
Tapper was very hostile and antagonistic as he said to his guest: “there’s only one viewer you care about right now”, possibly alluding to Trump himself whom Miller was passionately defending at the time.
In pure arrogance, Tapper chose to end the interview with the unkindest cut: “I think I’ve wasted enough of my viewers’ time. Thank you, Stephen.” With that, the interview was abruptly cut.
Trump took to Twitter to praise and defend his senior adviser, and slam CNN anew. Trump posted: “Jake Tapper of Fake News CNN just got destroyed in his interview with Stephen Miller of the Trump Administration. Watch the hatred and unfairness of this CNN flunky!”
