Classes at Cal State University San Bernadino have been canceled following multiple reports of shots fired at the California university.
Officials told people to shelter-in-place at the campus and a tweet from the university's Twitter account confirmed the possible incident was reported near the Visual Arts Building and Parking Structure West.

The tweet also warned against leaving the campus saying, "Do not attempt to leave campus." The remaining Wednesday classes were canceled in a subsequent tweet.

Police responded to the campus and multiple police vehicles were sighted shortly after the reports as officers conducted a search. According to Chief Jarrod Burguan of the San Bernardino Police Department, the agency is assisting the CSUSB Police Department in the investigation.
