The extended interview that Piers Morgan had with US President Donald Trump has aired a few hours ago and given that the two men have a very friendly relationship (and that Mr. Morgan is a great interviewer) it left viewers with some fabulous quotes.

Tweeting
US press had already reported in December of last year that they assumed the President was tweeting from his bedroom, so Mr. Morgan asked him about his social media habits first: “Well, perhaps sometimes in bed, perhaps sometimes at breakfast or lunch or whatever, but generally speak during the early morning, or during the evening I can do that. I’ll sometimes just dictate out something really quickly and give it to one of my people to put it on.”
Fake News
Mr. Trump claimed that he needed social media outreach as there were so many stories about him on a daily basis that he considers to be “fake news.”
“If I wasn’t able to do that because I get a lot of fake news. If I don’t have that form of communication, I can’t defend myself, unless I’m going to have a news conference every 15 minutes,”
Fast Food
Mr. Morgan mentioned the President’s recent physical exam and asked if it was true that his favorite type of food was still McDonald's.
“I eat fine food, really from some of the finest chefs in the world, I eat healthy food, I also have some of that food on occasion, I think I eat actually quite well.”

Feminists
When asked about the women’s march of a few weeks ago, Mr Trump explained that he believes many women in the US respect his sense of security: “There’s nobody better than me on the military… I think women really like that. I think they want to be safe at home. I have tremendous respect for women.”
“No, I wouldn’t say I am a feminist. I mean, I think that would be maybe going too far: I am for women, I am for men, I am for everyone.”
