California’s relaxed Marijuana Laws have combined with a young girls’ eagerness to sell cookies when she found that standing outside a medical marijuana dispensary, she sold a lot more boxes than before. The internet could not get enough.
With cookie sales going through-the-roof for some reason, the 9-year-old decided to set up shop right in front of the store permanently, much to the amusement of customers.
San Diego's Urban Leaf marijuana dispensary even featured her on their Instagram page, saying: “Get some Girl Scout Cookies with your GSC today until 4pm! Have a friend that wants to #tagalong? Bring them with - shopping is more fun with friends anyways.”
Though some commenters said it was no place for a nine year old girl, some agreed with the shop, stating: “Y’all so sick for this haha cmon Girl Scouts let a young entrepreneur live!! She should be awarded for this lol it’s called demographic! Anyone that’s hatin cause they didn’t think of it first!”
The Girl Scouts San Diego claimed that they don’t necessarily have a problem with the location, acknowledging that booth sales do not start for another week officially. However, as long as there is a guardian or parent present, the scouts are allowed to sell from wagons.
We doubt if the girl realizes why her sales are what they are though, or if the her father, who accompanies her on those sales trips, ever makes it in the store himself.
