Video - Russian Passenger Jet Crash (71 Dead) Captured On Camera

Just as Russian investigators are still searching the snow-covered fields near Moscow for any possible clue as to what led to the passenger plane carrying 71 people to crash yesterday, a security camera near the field where the wreckage was spread seems to have captured the moment of impact.

As we reported yesterday, all 65 passengers and six crew were killed when the Saratov Airlines jet went down minutes after taking off from Domodedovo airport on Sunday afternoon.

As there are many packages belonging to the Russian post in the area, a theory spread quickly that the plane collided with a helicopter of the Russian mail, but so far no one has confirmed this.

Russian media reported yesterday evening that children as young as five are among those killed in the plane disaster overnight when the jet seemingly “broke apart in the sky” and crashed to the ground barely 10 minutes after it took off. So far no official explanation as to why the crash happened has been provided.

All similar planes of the airline have been grounded for the time being.
