The latest update to the breaking story of the shooting at the gates of the National Security Agency in Fort Meade, Maryland is that at least one person has been injured due to the shooting. Many details are still foggy and the NSA reportedly said they "would handle it" but FBI agents were reportedly headed to the scene to investigate as well. NBC news released aerial photographs which showed that a black SUV with airbags deployed, bullet holes in the windows had apparently crashed into the concrete barrier of the NSA facility. A law enforcement dog was deployed to search the car and one person was reportedly led away in handcuffs.

FBI's Baltimore office tweeted that the situation was "contained." This would be the second such instance in recent years. In 2015, one person died with two more injured at the gates of the Ft. Meade facility. According to ABC 7 news, "weapons were dishcharged" but no one was shot. Several injured have been hospitalized.
