Parkland, Florida - First Couple Visit Victims In Hospital

In the wake of the terrible tragedy in the Marjory Stoneman High School in Parkland, Florida earlier this week, President Donald Trump, accompanied by First-Lady Melania Trump, travelled to Broward Health North Hospital in Pompano Beach to visit some of the shooting victims.

The President delivered some brief remarks to the gathered press while colluding with Dr. Igor Nichiporenko and discussed the hospital’s efforts. He was keen to thank the doctors, medical staff and first responders for their help in dealing with the terrible events.

First responders were not told the first couple would be coming in today, as the President wanted to show his respects to the victims and only decided at the last minute that he would visit.

US President Trump said he had met with victims at the hospital: “It’s sad something like that could happen.”

The first couple made the 50-minute trip by motorcade to Broward. They had arrived earlier in the day to Mr Trump’s club in Palm Beach, Mar-a-Lago.

I am thankful to have a President and with his wife, demo straight compassion to visit the injured and responders and not make it a political grandstand as so many other officials have done in past and current tragedies.
