The ratings war between ABC and Fox reached a new low last week when panelist Ms Joy Behar of talk show “The View” mocked Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith.
In a segment, she said that ‘it’s one thing to talk to Jesus, it’s another to have him talk back to you, that’s called mental illness.’
Though we are sure some found that a funny soundbite, there were many Christians who took offense at it as well.

Fox did the decent thing. Instead of making a mockery out of Ms Behar, it shot back with an interview with the VP, asking him to react to that segment. In his response, Mr Pence reiterated on how important his Christian faith is to him, and how he and his wife go out of their way to live their lives the way God has shown them, with forgiveness and understanding for all.

Fox News’ contributor Mr Todd Starnes meanwhile had slammed Ms Behar in a critical opinion piece, explaining that it’s “understandable that a Christophobe like Behar be dumbfounded by such a concept,” before adding that “if hearing the voice (of) God means (you are) mentally insane” then he is crazy himself.
