ISIS, the Islamic State death cult, has released bodycam video of footage allegedly showing the death of the 4 US Soldiers in Niger last year in October. The sources of this video have not been verified.
The official Pentagon statement at the time “said the unit that was attacked comprised 12 soldiers from the 3rd Special Forces Group which had recently arrived in Niger for a six-month tour, and about 30 Nigerien troops.”
There are two versions of the video floating around on the internet at this moment, one shows the horrible images of the fallen American soldiers before moving on to glorifying shots of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. We will not show that video. The second version has been cut and only shows the bodycam footage of the soldiers.
The official report stated that: “About 50 men attacked the US and Nigerien unit with small arms, rocket-propelled grenades and mortars.”

“American SF (Special Forces) requested ‘danger close’ support and attempted to talk the CAS (close air support) in, but the French Mirages alleged continued to refuse to engage.”
The video was made available by SOFREP TV and we believe Youtube will take it down shortly.
Their description of the material says: “Helmet Cam footage from the October 2017 Tongo Tongo ambush that killed four Nigeriens and four Americans. 21 enemy militants were killed while eight Nigeriens and two Americans were wounded.”
The Pentagon's investigation into what happened is still ongoing and expected to be released later. We believe this video, if it is a true version of those events, will shed new light on some details.
