Canadian ISIS Terrorist Wrote Horrifying Messages On Prison Cell Wall

20-year-old Canadian national (born in Kuwait) Abdulrahman El-Bahnasawy was arrested last year as the FBI finished a 3-month investigation into the teenager who had pledged allegiance to ISIS. Together with 2 others, he was plotting a terror attack targeting Times Square and the subway system in New York City.

A report filed in U.S. district court on Friday stated that “he worked over the course of months with high-level, Syria-based ISIS members and other ISIS supporters around the world to plan a large-scale terrorist attack in New York City, and he took numerous steps towards executing the plot.”

Furthermore, the federal prosecutor asked for a long prison sentence as it appeared that the Ontario resident had, during his time in prison, scrawled multiple pro-ISIS statements on the walls of his cell in which he threatened further attacks against the US.

Wall 1 said: “Pledge Alliance To ISIS. Spread The Islamic State. Fight The Tyrants. Purify The Earth From Corruption.”

Wall 2 said: “Fuck America. Kill Kuffar. End Corruption,” and was accompanied by a drawing of a plane flying into the Twin Towers (Kuffar is the Islamic denomination of anyone non-muslim, red.).

His personal troubles (his defence lawyer claims he had a difficult childhood) “cannot explain or justify his conduct,” the US prosecutors added, describing the youngster’s attack plotting as “chillingly lucid, sophisticated, and determined.”

“That he has a history of drug abuse, which does not set him apart from countless other defendants, hardly constitutes a material mitigating consideration under the circumstances present in this case.”

The US prosecution was able to show that the youngster had sent cell phones and $500 to different addresses and emails provided to him by ISIS.

When the terrorist organization asked him to help planning an attack on New York, he eagerly participated: “In the ensuing weeks, El-Bahnasawy began planning to carry out a suicide attack in support of ISIS targeting New York City, involving the detonation of improvised explosive devices, as well as mass shootings, during the Islamic holy month of Ramadhan, which ran from approximately June 5 to July 5 in 2016.”
