8 Days after Russian Spy Poisoning, Another Putin Enemy Found Dead In London

Just a week after presumed double agent and former Russian army colonel Mr. Sergei Skripal was poisoned with a nerve agent together with his daughter in Salisbury (just south of London), today another critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin was found deceased in the UK capital, in an apparent ‘death by strangulation’.

68-year-old Mr. Nikolai Glushkov was discovered by his family and friends late on Monday night. One of his friends, the Russian newspaper editor Mr. Damian Kudryavtsev, posted the news on social media without even confirming the deceased’s name “as a precaution because of associations that the man is believed to have had”.

Mr. Glushkov used to run the Russian state airline Aeroflot until he fell out in 2006 with Vladimir Putin and was forced to flee to the UK.

As an influential Russian who knew many people in political circles and a staunch Putin critic, he gave an interview to the Guardian newspaper a few years ago, in which he revealed that after his close friend Mr. Alexander Litvinenko (also a presumed Russian spy who had been poisoned in London in 2014), many others had died under mysterious circumstances. “Boris [Berezovsky] was strangled. Either he did it himself or with the help of someone. But I don’t believe it was suicide.”

“Too many deaths of Russian emigres have been happening.”

Last year, in a state-ordered trial, Mr. Glushkov was sentenced to eight years in prison for allegedly stealing $123 million from airline Aeroflot.

The Metropolitan police stated that: “Whilst we believe we know the identity of the deceased, formal identification is yet to take place. The death is currently being treated as an unexplained.”

Maybe the Russians will take out the nasty Clinton due to the terrible investment in our Uranium that cannot be exported to Russia?

Who would benefit from this, certainly not Russia. Putin would know this would make their public image even worse. Look to the USA or Israel to have knocked this guy off.

The old rule is to blame your enemy for what you are doing yourself.
