Queen of Pop Britney Spears is the new face of Kenzo. But the real big news is she’s literally taken the words “new face” to an astounding literal meaning.

Parisian designer Kenzo unveiled its latest ad campaign starring Britney in graphic, svelte midriff-baring streetwear. The new ad is turning heads because people practically had to take a double look, all-puzzled as they all seem to ask: “OMG, is that really Britney Spears?”
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">So excited to announce my new campaign for <a href="https://twitter.com/kenzo?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@KENZO</a>’s La Collection Memento No2 shot by <a href="https://twitter.com/peterlindbergh?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@peterlindbergh</a>!!! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/kenzolovesbritney?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#kenzolovesbritney</a> <a href="https://t.co/oFY6f43nfM">pic.twitter.com/oFY6f43nfM</a></p>— Britney Spears (@britneyspears) <a href="https://twitter.com/britneyspears/status/976113646119026688?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 20, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Pop music critic Jose Coscarelli even tweets: “Are we…sure…that this is Britney Spears?”
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">are we… sure… that this is Britney Spears…? <a href="https://t.co/8Nk2ONqgcI">pic.twitter.com/8Nk2ONqgcI</a></p>— Joe Coscarelli (@joecoscarelli) <a href="https://twitter.com/joecoscarelli/status/976123238953684992?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 20, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Social media users are also losing it over the new look of Britney Spears as they share their bewilderment on the popular online platform.
User @Darcy333 tweets: “If this is Britney Spears, then I never knew her. What in the plastic hell?!”
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">If this is Britney Spears then I never knew her. Some say the look is just another indication of the bigger problems that ail the fashion and pop music industries. @hihghwayqueens tweets: “When a 36-year-old woman is dressed up and badly photoshopped in a desperate attempt to make her look 18 again, that surely makes her a victim of ageism?”

Some are also raving about the young new look of the superstar. @Oneofthosefaces tweets: “We love a living legend [aging] backward and living her best blessed unproblematic life.”

Whatever one’s views are on the latest Britney endorsement, one thing is clear: the queen continues to be commanding.
