ISIS butchers have slaughtered 33 young people in Syria. The attack has been termed as the biggest mass execution of 2017. Some of the victims that have been attacked were aged between 18 and 25. The victims have reportedly been executed using sharp tools in the al-Mayadin desert.
The mass execution took place on the outskirts of a hole dug by ISIS in the al-Mayadin desert. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the hole was filled with blood. The identities of the victims are currently unknown. However, the Observatory said that marks of slaughter appeared on the necks of the victims.
Reports are yet to confirm if the victims were allied militia, Syrian soldiers or prisoners. Activists were reportedly able to monitor the horrifying incident, which occurred near the city of Deir ez-Zor yesterday morning. The activists also managed to see the victims' bodies following the mass slaughter.
The Observatory reported that the incidence is considered the largest and first mass execution carried out by the 'Islamic State' organization in 2017. The mass execution comes as President Donald Trump has said the US and its allies will destroy the terror group and protect civilization.
President Trump made a statement at a joint White House news conference with Jordan's King Abdullah in which he promised that he will destroy ISIS and protect civilization, adding that there’s no other choice. Trump also said that Jordan's King Abdullah has been a leader in the fight to defeat the Islamic State once and for all.
The terror group had earlier on released a statement mocking President Trump, the terror group claimed that America was being run by an idiot. ISIS Spokesman Abi al-Hassan al-Muhajer said that America has drowned and there is no savior. He also said that Americans have become prey for the soldiers of the caliphate in every part of the earth, adding that the signs of America's demise are evident to every eye.
