France ISIS Attack - 3 Dead, Police Shoot Terrorist (Video)

The French ISIS attack in the southern town of Trèbes has ended after police stormed the supermarket where an ISIS terrorist held several people hostage. So far 3 dead (of which 2 police officers) have been counted and 5 wounded.

As we’ve informed you (see our related coverage), the events unfolded this morning when a terrorist of Moroccan origin (whom was on the police radar for suspected radicalization) started shooting at police officers who were jogging in the city of Carcassone.

He then fled to the nearby village of Trèbes where he took several people hostage in a local supermarket. According to reports, he was armed with a gun, knives and grenades.

One of the police officers shot while jogging had a bullet removed which missed his heart by 3 centimeters in hospital. He remains in stable condition.

Multiple employees of the supermarket were wounded and a local butcher was killed. There is no word yet on the identities of the other victims.

The suspect, who as we said was heavily armed, demanded the release of Salah Abdeslam (the most important surviving suspect in the 13 November 2015 attacks in Paris, which killed 130 people) - see our related coverage.

In the end, police stormed the building and shot the terrorist.
