After a brief conversation with some of the neighbours, police officers finally are able to locate the whereabouts of Mr Boyd.

Oklahoma City Police Capt. Bo Mathews: "they went into the backyard to the residence across the street and they located the suspect."
Investigators say Mr Boyd clearly ignores the officer’s demand to drop the knife and continues to approach, stating: “Go ahead, so shoot me motherfucker.”
At this moment the police officer shoots Mr Boyd, who was later treated at a hospital for his injuries and subsequently released. Mr Boyd has been charged with domestic violence against the female victim and aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.
