White House Hosts Easter Egg Roll (Video)

Donald and Melania Trump greeted many children who attended the already 140th annual White House Easter egg roll event yesterday.

The US President raised the arm of the Easter Bunny as they appeared together on the South Portico of the White House and then kicked off the festivities.

Clearly, in good spirits, POTUS and FLOTUS were joined by a crowd of nearly 30,000 adults and children who all filled the White House south lawn.

First Lady Melania Trump had already announced last week that the extra event of lawn bowling would be added to a full roster of Easter themed festivities (which also included the tradition of rolling hard-boiled eggs across the lawn). the children clearly enjoyed it. FLOTUS also took the time to read a children’s book.

Many children were delighted to play in front of the first family whilst Mr Trump enjoyed some time off from his busy schedule.
