There's breaking news to report coming out of Trump Tower in New York where a fire has spread across higher levels of the infamous building owned by the President of the United States of America.

The blaze is apparently on the 50th level, with eyewitnesses and footage from the scene suggesting that the flames are quickly expanding throughout the building.

There's no reported word on what may have caused the blaze at the President's building at this time, but Trump Tower security officials say they're working cooperatively with the New York Police Department as well as the New York Fire Department to rush first responders into the emblazoned tower in an effort to save lives and assist anyone who may be injured.

As of now, firefighters are inside the 5th Avenue building in Midtown, where numerous office spaces and apartments are located, and say they have no reports of injuries although it's early to report if that may change.

The extent of damages to the Trump Tower building could be monumental, as those in the ground suggest the spreading of the fire is moving incredibly fast.

Neither the President of the United States of America or his family were inside the burning building, according to the White House, although they've offered their thoughts and prayers to those inside and the emergency medical responders on the ground nearby.

The President has since tweeted the fire has been contained, thanking first responders.

Smoke can be seen billowing from the windows of the higher floors of the Trump Tower building for miles, as seen in footage from the area.
