This year’s White House Correspondents Dinner is one that will leave a lasting mark, certainly when you consider that mostly left-wing news websites like The Guardian and BBC News, who have started reporting on the event, are quite clear in their opening titles: “Comedian's Sarah Sanders 'roast' stuns White House Correspondents' Dinner” (BBC) and “Michelle Wolf Shocks Media With Sarah Sanders Attack” (The Guardian).

By now the US media has started to wake up and smell the coffee apparently as The Washington Post, not known as a beacon of love for Trump, probably realized Ms Wolff took it all a bit took far probably when they needed to use the terminology ‘eviscerates Sarah Huckabee Sanders’.

Meanwhile the internet was full of praise for the White House Press Secretary Sanders for not walking out of the event altogether after getting mocked in public for her appearance and use of makeup repeatedly.

My colleague wrote a piece this morning European time when the event had just finished in astonishment which went into greater detail and deals with the jokes itself (see our related coverage), and I must admit that I don’t usually share the views, but this time must agree that mocking a person simply for doing their job and being there at the demand of the US president, and then getting a crowd to laugh at your appearance really appears like the US mainstream media is starting to scrape the barrel.

It was hard not reacting this week to the many late-night show hosts laughing at Mr Kanye West for simply expressing his opinion, but this time must state that to laugh at someone’s appearance simply because you don’t share their political beliefs is quite pitiful. Shame on you Ms Wolff.
If there would ever be one point where the MSM could realize that in all this they are taking it a bit too far, my hope is that it would be this moment. The European, Asian and Middle Eastern press has long made its peace with the fact that US President Donald Trump was elected in a democratic manner, perhaps now would be a good time that the US Press also started to give some fairer coverage as well.

Everyone on the Daily Show has been showing their true face for a long time now. She lost, get over it.
To listen to Liberals they are applauding Wolf for her honesty and trashing Sarah as a coward. Those liberals are so bitter and blind that they can not even recognize trash talk when they hear it. But then again they are the same ones who are against Making America Great Again.
Wolf was not funny at all and she should take a look in the mirror before she is critical of others, she has a Rabid Bat like appearance herself…
