Authorities said that a man from Florida tried to throw narcotics out of his car window in Martin County. The man was arrested.
Martin County Sheriff’s Office said 41-year-old Tyko Dean of Oakland Park was pulled over on I-95. Deputies said Dean initially heeded the call and pulled his car over, but fled right after he was asked to get out of his vehicle.

Air and K-9 units helped go after Dean’s car until it was forced to stop. Deputies said Dean tried to dump illegal drugs out of his car window.
Detectives checked the suspect’s car and recovered 359 grams of cocaine and 31 grams of heroin inside.
The Sheriff’s Office said Dean is facing charges of multiple drug offenses.
