Stunning drone footage was captured of The Mount Kilauea volcano erupting and discharging ash into the sky. It has also forced huge fountains of red-hot lava to pour into residential areas, causing evacuations in the Puna community, home to approximately 10,000 people.

Hawaii's Governor David Ige has activated the military reservists from the national guard to aid in the evacuation.

He tweeted: “I am in contact with Mayor Harry Kim and Hawai‘i County, and the state is actively supporting the county’s emergency response efforts.
“I have also activated the Hawai‘i National Guard to support county emergency response teams with evacuations and security.
“The lava is flowing onto streets in the subdivision, which consists of about 770 structures.
“The lava flow has prompted the mandatory evacuation of about 1,700 residents of Leilani Estates. Residents are being sheltered at Pāhoa Community Center & Kea‘au Community Center.
“The danger is of such magnitude that it warrants preemptive and protective action in order to provide for the safety, health, and welfare of the residents of Leilani Estates and surrounding areas.
“I am in contact with Mayor Harry Kim and Hawai‘i County, and the state is actively supporting the county’s emergency response efforts.
“I have also activated the Hawai‘i National Guard to support county emergency response teams with evacuations and security.”

Janet Babb, a Hawaiian Volcano Observatory geologist, said residents in the area should remain vigilant because "lava could break to the surface, and it could do so fairly quickly”.
She added: “It's a situation worth monitoring very closely.
“The seismicity on the lower east rift zone had declined and the tilt had slowed down so that indicates that the intrusion has stalled or paused.
“What we don’t know is if this intrusive event is over or if it’s just taking a pause and it may pick back up.”

A US Geological Survey recorded 'White, hot vapor and blue fume emanated from an area,' amid ongoing emergency evacuations.
Local community centers have opened to allow some 10,000 affected residents shelter, Hawaii's emergency management agency said.
Uber is offering free journeys to residents in impacted areas.

Regarding just this one particular volcano. Hawaii's MOST active volcano. It has had over 30 Major eruptions since 1843 and likely 100 minor eruptions over the last 250 years. Heck it had a MAJOR Eruption in 1984, that covered 45+km with a lava path, and that was just 34 years ago.
Regarding the Sideline interwoven Storyline hint of Climate Change:

It likely will cause some shifts in the weather patterns, more rain, cooler temps, just like every other Major Eruption has on earth has been recorded to have done in the past 250+ years of REAL weather record keeping.
