An upcoming documentary promises to be both riveting and terrifying as it investigates an Indiana woman serving jail for injecting her husband with a lethal dose of heroin before smothering him with a pillow to establish if she is responsible as well for nine other deaths. As if that’s not scary enough, another horrific and hair-raising crime will be explored- that the woman may have served her lover’s remains to unsuspecting neighbors at a barbecue.
34-year-old Kelly Cochran was sentenced to 65 years in prison last month after she confessed to murdering her own husband, Jason Cochran. She was by then already serving a life sentence for killing and dismembering another lover, Chris Regan, who went missing in 2014.
The documentary “Dead North” will air on May 28 and 29 on Investigation Discovery and will shed light on other murders that may be linked to Cochran. Cochran’s own family shared to investigators that she may have killed as many as nine people and buried their bodies throughout the Midwest.
Those who know Cochran closely including her family and friends also told the investigators the shocking and stomach-churning story of how the murderer also allegedly served her former lover Regan’s remains to her neighbors at a barbecue.
Iron River Police Chief Laura Frizzo who handled the case of Regan’s disappearance said that she learned Cochran was having an affair with Regan. The case went cold until Jason Cochran died in February 2016 under the suspicions of a case of overdose. Investigators later discovered that he was actually murdered by his wife.
Cochran made the admission later that she and her husband lured Regan inside their home with every intention to murder him. They shot him and dismembered him, before dumping his remains in the woods. She also said she entered into an “agreement” with her husband to “kill off anyone involved in their extramarital affairs.”
It is not yet as clear if Cochran also confessed to feeding her neighbors with Regan’s remains.
If indeed Cochran did the unthinkable, she would not have been the first one to do such a dastardly act. In 1996, serial killer Joseph Metheny claimed after his arrest that he sold his victims’ remains in barbecue sandwiches to the customers of his beef stand.
Cochran admitted, too, that she killed her husband as revenge since she was angry at him for killing her lover, Regan.

So… You title this weak bit of shilling for the ID Network (a lousy woman's network equal to the Lifetime Network) 'Murderess Serves Husband at BBQ', yet you close this vapid article by admitting that you don't have any clue whether she did it or not.
You're a terrible 'journalist', and all of your 'work' sucks.
