Later enforcement agencies in Texas have now announced a joint operation involving the Secret Service, Collin County Sheriff's Office and Plano Police Department in the largest bust of child pornography ever found, during a raid against a pedophile from Allen, who police say has a stunning 58 terabytes of data on his computer.
Both the Collin County Sheriff's Office via their Child Exploitation Unit, the Plano Police Department, and the Allen Police Department proceeded to execute a search warrant at a residence in the 1400 block of West McDermott Drive in Allen, belonging to 39-year-old Richard Denver Belden.

The Sheriff's Department received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the United States Secret Service which said that someone from the residence, believed to be Belden, had engaged in the transmission of illicit child pornography which depicted prepubescent children being sexually assaulted by adults.
After monitoring the illicit transmissions, the Child Exploitation Unit of the Collin County Sheriff's Office in cooperation with the Allen and Plano Police Departments were able to compile enough evidence to seek a search warrant for Belden’s home, which they executed on May 15th.
During that raid, the joint law enforcement operations team discovered what local radio station KLRD 1080 AM called a “mountain of child pornography,” with 58 terabytes worth of child porn images and videos being found on computers and other electronic devices inside the residence.

To explain just how much child pornography this is, 58 terabytes of data is quite possibly the world's largest bust in history, so let's showcase just how many pictures or videos this could have been.

Assuming that the average size photo is 500kb, then a one terabyte hard drive would hold around 2 million photos. So 58 terabytes would equal around 116 million photographs of child pornography.
For example, you could fit approximately 500 hours worth of movies on one terabyte alone.
Assuming that each feature-length movie is roughly 120 minutes long, or two hours, that would be about 250 movies.
So that would be 14,500 two-hour long movies. There's no description from law enforcement as to just what specific totals of videos and images were found, but the possibilities here are endless, and in my history of writing hundreds if not thousands of similar cases for The Goldwater, I've never heard of a pedophile raid or bust which accumulated this much data. 58 terabytes is an enormous stash.
What many often forget is that every single one of the children in every photograph of child pornography is a victim of sexual abuse. At some point, that child depicted as being naked, molested, raped, or tortured was made a victim.
So assuming that several of these photos or videos were of the same child, and there were a handful of videos or images per child, this could mean that this man is responsible for the abuse of hundreds of thousands if not millions of children.
Every time a pedophile shares a child porn photo or video of a prepubescent child, they're victimizing that child. Sharing and distributing the files is by no means a victimless crime.
Richard Denver Belden is a monster, and he's now being held in the Collin County Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
There's no word as to whether Belden has a bond in place or as to how many specific charges he will be arraigned on, but Texas is typically a state which maximizes punishment for such heinous crimes.
This can be considered as an enormous victory for the Secret Service, the Collin County Sheriff's Office, the Allen Police Department, the Plano Police Department, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the National Computer Forensics Institute; all of which participated cooperatively in bringing down this vicious and disturbing pedophile.
Thank you to each and every one of the men and women working at these agencies for their cooperation and desire to bring such horrible pedophiles to justice, and thank you to the mainstream media for continuing to refuse to report on these highly important arrests showing the American people that “PedoGate” is very real and the efforts to cover it up are ongoing daily.

At 2.25GB per hour for 720p Video, 58TB equals 58,000GB. But assuming 720p format Video, that means he had about 25,778 hrs of video. However, most likely these CP Videos at low res. 1024x768.
so it could be 50,000 hrs….
