The First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and, of course, the Mother of Dragons, is, together with Jon Snow, everyone’s favorite character in the series and all fans are curious to know what will happen next.

In a long spun out interview with Vanity Fair today, she talks of her final moments in the series, driving fans crazy with suspicion: “It f***ed me up. Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is… I’m doing all this weird shit. You’ll know what I mean when you see it.”

Of course, that means that we are left to question whether Daenerys Targaryen will win the right to rule the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, but at least everyone now knows that Miss Clarke will no longer sport her platinum wig for the series when it ends its eight-season run, in 2019.

Game of Thrones is for any one of the final shows for which people tend to tune in as soon as it comes out. For this reason, HBO has been able to hold on to Sunday night television in the US, with the hard-core fans watching live to avoid spoilers on social media or in the workplace the next morning. In its 2017 season, some 32.8 million viewers turned in weekly in the US. And with 38 Emmy wins it has become one of the most awarded TV series in history.
