There's breaking news that's set to add an additional victory to the countless successes of the Trump Administration - after President Trump has announced that Joshua Holt - an American hostage detained in Venezuela - has now been released.
The stunning victory comes after two years of imprisonment for Joshua Holt inside of Venezuela, where his Utah-based family has sought pleas for help from every politician that they could, including the Democratic Party’s former President Barack Obama, only to have their desires ignored.
President Trump was having none of this and has worked behind closed doors in discussions with diplomats having high hopes that they could reach President Maduro of Venezuela and secure terms of release for the American citizen.

Earlier this month,<a href="https://thegoldwater.com/news/26323-Venezuela-American-Sends-Desperate-Call-As-300-Political-Prisoners-Revolt-Video"> The Goldwater reported </a>that over 300 political captives inside of a notorious prison in the capital city of Caracas had revolted against the regime and its handlers, where the inmates at El Helicoide, the headquarters of Venezuela's secret service which serves as a prison, were able to take complete control of the facility.
Shortly after the riot at the Venezuelan prison made international headlines, Joshua Holt had gained access to the internet in which he posted a series of videos to his personal Facebook account in order to let his family know that he was safe.

The 26-year-old Utah native traveled into Venezuela back in 2016 to marry a woman he fell in love with over the internet, but after his arrival, the Socialist government accused him of “stockpiling weapons” in what they argued was an attempted plot to rebel against the leadership.
With America's State Department doing little under Obama to attempt to bring Holt back to his family in Utah and secure his release, President Trump has clearly shown that the art of the deal can be accomplished under his tenure under almost any circumstances.
Both the release of Joshua Holt and now his new-wife are receiving praise from Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) in regards to the stunning victory, saying, “I could not be more honored to be able to reunite Josh with his sweet, long-suffering family in Riverton.”
Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) is also reported to have held a private meeting with President Maduro on Friday, where the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee apparently reached a conclusive decision from the Socialist regime to free the American and his wife.
Holt said during his video statements on Facebook that he'd tried everything he could to acquire support to obtain his freedom in the last two years, so today's announcement can be considered as a shocking gift that will bring Holt back to the United States of America where he belongs.
“I’ve been begging my government for two years,” Hold said. “They say they’re doing things but I’m still here.”
As of the moment of this article’s publishing, Joshua Holt is on a flight returning to the United States of America where he's expected to be reunited at the White House with his family on Saturday evening, in what's sure to be a celebration from the Trump Administration as well as his friends and loved ones who haven't seen him in two years.
President Trump can add one more monumental win to his hall of achievements, and this victory of bringing an American back from a Socialist nightmare is one that should send praise and thanks for his efforts for years to come.
