President Trump is expected to land in Houston Thursday and will travel to Dallas, according to a White House official. The reason for the trip to Texas was not mentioned but Monday the president will be in Washington D.C. for a wreath-laying ceremony and will travel to Nashville the following Tuesday.

The reason for the visit was said to be for a National Republican Senatorial Committee benefit which costs $5,000 per person to $100,000 per couple. The fundraiser was originally slated to take place Monday, May 14 but has been moved to Thursday, May 31.
The president is also expected to appear at a fundraising dinner in Dallas on the same day with the Dallas even being sponsored by Trump's 2020 re-election campaign and the Republican National Committee.
