As we here at the goldwater.com know that when you use the terminology far-right to designate a political party, you risk getting shadow-banned on social media, we offer our apologies to our readers for not stating that the opposition Sweden Democrats is solely riding an anti-immigration platform. Excuse us for not making the same mistake that Politico did a few days ago when they said ‘Swedish far right at record high in pre-election poll’ ( https://www.politico.eu/article/jimmie-akesson-stefan-lofven-swedish-democrats-far-right-at-record-high-in-pre-election-poll/ )
Yes, Sweden, this bastion of socialism once, is now about to elect an anti-immigrant party to its parliament. In the Dagens Nyheter daily newspaper poll, the once sidelined politics of the Sweden Democrats are now about to get 1 in 5 votes, and the party is sure to be the kingmaker to the next parliament. If it gets sidelined, it will only get stronger, that is what opinion polls are saying today.

No one knows this better than opposition leader Ulf Kristersson of the Moderate Party, who, following Austria’s model where PM Kurz is forming a coalition with the far-right, is, according to political analysts, bound to choose the Sweden Democrats for his next government and sideline the Socialists, who had been in government for years.

According to Mr Kirstersson, if elected, his government (elections are to be held in September) would focus on integrating the hundreds of thousands of immigrants who have arrived in Sweden in recent years, something he states the ruling Socialists has so far failed to do.

One of the measures he proposes is to cut welfare to get the immigrants to enter the Swedish job market.
Mr Kirstersson: “If we don’t change the level of welfare, how will immigrants enter the labour market? Sweden is a very equal country with a very high level of trust. That is being challenged. If you don’t do anything at all you have a problem.”

Just as can be seen in Denmark and Norway, governments have hardened their stance on immigration and integration ever since the immigration crisis of 2015 (when German Chancellor Angela Merkel opened Europe’s borders for all Syrian and Iraqi refugees) as violent crimes in the country have risen exponentially.

They don't need to integrate the muslims, they need to kick them out! They have ruined that once beautiful country. Sweden will never be a good country again unless they get rid of the muslims. I always wanted to visit Sweden, now I'm afraid to take my family there. It's so sad what the muslims have done to that country.
