The once budding bromance between US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron seems completely over now that the latter has lashed out at POTUS’s behaviour during the G7.
The Parisian Elysée palace released a statement expressing their disappointment that the US President chose to leave the summit early and did not allow for any negotiating room on his tariffs for steel and aluminium which he imposed on Canada and Europe, nor did he want to undersign the summary statement, a habitual agreement between G7 members.

The Elysée stated: "International cooperation cannot be dictated by fits of anger and throwaway remarks."
"Let's be serious and worthy of our people. We make commitments and keep them," before it added that "France and Europe maintain their support for this statement."
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, under pressure as Mr Trump threatens with tariffs on car imports for European luxury car brands, which is a major employer in Germany, also said she stood by the communiquée.

But the biggest upset however, was between Mr Trump and Mr Trudeau, PM of neigh-bouring Canada. Earlier this week, Canada had stated that it was ‘insulting’ to be consid-ered threatening to US security when it’s steel manufacturing industry was slapped with tariffs by the White House, a major export market for Canada thus coming under pres-sure. Mr Trudeau had reminded the Americans that his countrymen had fought along-side them in the trenches during both the second and the first world war.

Mr Trump, who is by now on his way to Singapore to meet North Korean leader Kim Jung-Un, said Mr Trudeau was being ‘very dishonest’ in his condemnation of US tariffs.

I say we bite the bullet restart our manfacturing and to heck with the g6! Lets switch all the tarriffs and we get what they been getting from us and let them get what we got from tbem! Do that about 20 yrs and see if they decide to change tbeir minds! We can make everything we get from them it will just take time to get up and running!
