The wife of singer John Legend is back at her anti-Trump ranting and this time she has fallen for far-left political SJW rhetoric. Model Chrissy Teigen tried to take a stab at the president for alleged "inhumane" policies. Liberal left Hollywood and public figures are actively looking for an opportunity to pull down the current POTUS. This was evident when a photo was circulated recently showing children sleeping in fenced cages in Immigration Enforcement custody. The photo drew ire and outrage at president Trump from far left figures until it was revealed the photo was taken during Obama's administration.
The deluded Teigen thought donating to a human rights group would somehow "spite" Trump since today is his birthday, June 14. She tweeted that each member of her family had donated $72,000 to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in mock celebration of Trump's 72nd birthday. Ironically (well maybe not ironically because if Teigen had done the least bit of research she would know this and I don't really expect that from her) the Trump administration has deported fewer people than the Obama administration. So this false narrative that Trump is somehow "anti-human rights" preposterous. Teigen's post read:
"John and I are outraged to see and hear the horror stories of immigrant families seeking asylum and refuge in America being ripped apart due to the inhumane policies of the Trump administration. "These actions are cruel and go against everything we believe this country should represent. The ACLU is committed to defending the rights and humanity of these vulnerable families.
"In addition to fighting for immigrants' rights, they're advocating for reproductive rights, voting rights, criminal justice reform, LGBT rights 1st amendment rights and holding the Trump administration accountable whenever possible. The President celebrates his 72nd birthday today. On this auspicious occasion, in order to Make Trump's Birthday Great Again, each member of our family has donated $72,000 to the ACLU.
