World Cup - Fashionably Late, Brazil Shows Up At The Party

Brazil, a heavy favorite for the tournament, had gotten some criticism after it failed to win it’s opening game. Switzerland last weekend which held the Selecao to a 1-1 draw.

Though the Swiss are ranked much higher than one might think on the Fifa list, the Brazilian team featuring stars like Coutinho, Marcelo and especially Neymar had been expected to bring some samba football as from the start, which it failed to do.

Neymar broke out into tears at the final whistle, confirming the heavy pressure his 200 million countrymen are putting him under as they expect nothing less than a World Cup trophy from the 26-year-old superstar.
