A home in Columbus, Ohio exploded due to a suspected gas leak Friday. Police officers body camera footage shows officers digging through the rubble trying to find survivors. The officers rescued a woman who was buried after they heard her calling for help.

The Columbus Police released the body camera footage from the incident which shows officers struggling to find a buried woman. Officer Gary Orahood was on patrol in the area when he discovered the home had completely collapsed. He also heard a woman crying out for help.
Officer Orahood and several good Samaritans searched the rubble and with the help of Officer Joe Burkey were able to rescue Vernice Hill from the rubble. The Columbus resident was taken to safety while parts of the debris were still on fire. Hill was taken away and treated at an area hospital. A second victim was rescued from the rubble, but their condition is unknown.
