Let the Democratic Party Tears Flow: Justice Kennedy is Retiring

President Trump just keeps winning, with the first SCOTUS ruling that the “Travel Ban” can remain indefinitely, and then SCOTUS putting an end to the “Mandatory Dues” of Democratic Labor Unions, and now the retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy from the Supreme Court Of The United States of America.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Justice Kennedy is retiring. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SCOTUS?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SCOTUS</a> <a href="https://t.co/jhLIM8VyLL">pic.twitter.com/jhLIM8VyLL</a></p>&mdash; Kimberly Robinson (@KimberlyRobinsn) <a href="https://twitter.com/KimberlyRobinsn/status/1012032972143431683?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 27, 2018</a></blockquote>

This news today alone surrounding the end to the Democratic Party’s funding from the mandatory dues of labor unions is already explosive, and now we're told that Democrats hopes of replacing Anthony Kennedy to the Supreme Court Of The United States of America are forever gone, with his retirement pending and President Trump having the chance of replacing him.

The decision is enormously powerful, leaving decades-long implications that will send shockwaves across the nation via future Supreme Court rulings, as Anthony Kennedy has oftentimes been considered the “swing vote” that determines 5-4 rulings.

Kennedy was first appointed to SCOTUS in 1988, with the nomination from President Ronald Reagan, and has served honorably since.

The Sacramento, California-born native has long-since decided several major cases, such as Boumediene v. Bush and Citizens United v. FEC. Kennedy wrote in part the majority opinions in Planned Parenthood v. Casey. He's also notable for his majority opinions in each of the Court's landmark gay rights cases: Romer v. Evans, Lawrence v. Texas, United States v. Windsor, and Obergefell v. Hodges.

Now, as of July 31st, 2018, Justice Anthony Kennedy will no longer be active in the nation's highest court, where his warmth on the bench will forever be felt through the tiers of history books.

President Trump is now tasked with the distinguished honor of appointing a second Supreme Court Justice in less than two-years, a rare opportunity to dedicate the highest court in the land to promoting Conservative ideals and traditional values within the boundaries of the law.

This decision will further underscore what legal wrongdoings are corrected for possibly decades to come.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">OMG! Just when you thought this week couldn&#39;t get more lit… I give you Anthony Kennedy&#39;s retirement from <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SCOTUS?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SCOTUS</a></p>&mdash; Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) <a href="https://twitter.com/DonaldJTrumpJr/status/1012038654405984256?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 27, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

With Anthony Kennedy leaving, there will be a hole in SCOTUS as well, since his sentiments and majority opinions have laid the groundwork for future attorneys and aspiring judges to set their feet on the ground and gain momentum throughout their own careers.

There will never be another Anthony Kennedy, but there will no doubt be the next Justice to create his or her own destiny.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Justice Kennedy announces retirement from SCOTUS. Democrats announce they&#39;re raising millions of dollars for vitamins and medicine for Ruth Bader Ginsburg. And if, god forbid, anything happens to her, they are preparing &#39;Operation Weekend At Bernies&#39;: <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SCOTUS?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SCOTUS</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Kennedy?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Kennedy</a></p>&mdash; MARK SIMONE (@MarkSimoneNY) <a href="https://twitter.com/MarkSimoneNY/status/1012037285796368384?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 27, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Democratic Party leaders are now scared that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg could be next, with her assuming that Hillary Clinton would have won the Presidency, she planned to retire under a female President. That didn't happen, as we all know, and the likelihood of Ginsburg lasting eight years is considered slim by most experts.

Ginsburg will no doubt attempt to last through the course of both of President Trump's terms, but if she meets an untimely fate, or must step-down, Republicans are guaranteed the Supreme Court for the next half-century.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">With Justice Kennedy announcing his retirement, and with Ginsburg almost 100 yrs old , this is how the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SCOTUS?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SCOTUS</a> will look once <a href="https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@realDonaldTrump</a> is finished remaking it in the image of <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/MAGA?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#MAGA</a> 😂 <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/WednesdayWisdom?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#WednesdayWisdom</a> <br><br>Retweet if you are not tired of winning yet 😎👌 <a href="https://t.co/yeLrrZEtbu">pic.twitter.com/yeLrrZEtbu</a></p>&mdash; Oak-Town ☢Unfiltered™ (@hrtablaze) <a href="https://twitter.com/hrtablaze/status/1012079308184084480?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 27, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

While we wish no ill will upon anyone, we will keep our fingers crossed that Ginsburg retires early.

President Trump plans to immediately vet numerous candidates and eventually nominate a replacement, albeit the Democrats will likely attempt to stonewall any nomination as long as possible. This much can be guaranteed.

The next Supreme Court Justice needs to be <i>fair and balanced</i> as well as primarily focused upon bringing <i>justice</i> in landmark cases.

I for one would like to see <i>Judge Jeanine Pirro</i> on the bench, but I'd love to hear what others have to say in the comments! If you have a suggestion, please share it!
