The so-called ‘special relationship’ between the US and the UK, which many political commentators claim has deteriorated over the lack of chemistry between US President Donald Trump and UK Prime Minister Theresa May, is bound to take another hit now that London Mayor Sadiq Khan will allow protesters to fly a giant inflatable figure depicting Donald Trump as a baby during the US president's visit.

A spokesperson for London Mayor Mr. Khan, who famously disapproves of Mr. Trump, claimed that: “The Mayor supports the right to peaceful protest and understands that this can take many different forms.

Former UKIP leader Mr. Nigel Farage claims the plan to do so was "the biggest insult to a sitting US President ever," and said this would only deteriorate the relationship between the US and the UK further.
US President Donald Trump, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, will visit Belgium from 10 till 12 July for a Nato summit together with different other heads of state.
After his short visit to the UK on the 13th, he will be meeting Russian President Putin in Helsinki, Finland on July 16th.
