Justin Bieber Is Engaged to Model Hailey Baldwin

Controversial pop singer Justin Bieber just got engaged to his girlfriend, model Hailey Baldwin, over the weekend.

E! News reported that the couple got engaged on Saturday during a trip to the Bahamas.

TMZ also reported eyewitnesses’ accounts on how the singer proposed. They claimed that everyone was at a restaurant on the property doing salsa dancing when Justin's security requested everyone to put their phones away because something special was about to happen. Shortly after that, Bieber was said to have proposed to Bailey on bended knee in front of everyone.

While their agents have yet to officially confirm the said engagement, their parents’ social media posts strongly hint of something special going on.

Bieber’s dad, Jeremy, posted a photo of the singer Sunday with the caption, "@justinbieber proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!"

Bieber’s mom, Pattie Mallette, also seemed to refer to the happy news with a tweet on Saturday simply celebrating, "Love Love Love Love Love Love Love."

Baldwin’s father, actor Stephen Baldwin also seemed to be alluding to the engagement with a tweet of his own, saying: “Always pray 4 God’s will!! He is moving in the hearts of JB &HB!” The post, however, has been taken down and can no longer be viewed in Baldwin’s account.

Bieber, 24, and Baldwin, 21, first dated in 2016 but had broken up. Bieber next dated Selena Gomez that also eventually ended in a break-up even as they have been on and off for years. Bieber and Baldwin hooked up again last month and entertainment reports say the pair has been inseparable since then.

TMZ also reported that just after the engagement, the newly-engaged couple was seen hanging out at Nippers Bar & Grill in the Bahamas where she flashed her new hardware. The site described the engagement ring on Baldwin’s finger as “huge”, and a “fat diamond ring” that’s “one hell of a rock.” It seemed that Bieber spared no expense to give his lady love an expensive ring.
