Perhaps the Iranian women got ideas from seeing many of their peers head out to Russia where they were allowed into the stadiums of the world cup and were able to support the team without wearing the hijab, the scarf that is obligatory under Islamic law.

Back home Tehran is back to its old ways after it arrested a number of young people this weekend who had dared to post videos of themselves on Instagram. The most famous target was Miss Maedeh Hojabri, a girl rumored to be 17 or 18, who could be seen dancing in her bedroom.

The exact number of users behind popular Instagram accounts who have been arrested as well as the identities of the other detainees have not been confirmed.

Young Miss Hajabri’s account, which has since been suspended, had more than 600,000 followers, most of them other Iranian girls.

This Sunday she appeared on a state television programme together with other detainees, in which she and others made what activists say were forced confessions (a tactic often used by the Iranian religious authorities).

She stated: “It wasn’t for attracting attention. I had some followers and these videos were for them. I did not have any intention to encourage others doing the same … I didn’t work with a team, I received no training. I only do gymnastics.”

A famous Iranian blogger, Mr Hossein Ronaghi, claimed: “People would laugh at you if you tell anyone in the world that in Iran they arrest 17-year-olds and 18-year-olds for dancing, being happy and being beautiful, for spreading indecency, and instead paedophiles are free.”

In Iran, Facebook and Twitter are filtered whilst Instagram is heavily monitored.

Back in 2014, like in many other countries, Iranian youngsters had recorded their own version of ‘Happy’ by Pharell Williams and placed it on Youtube.

They were subsequently arrested and received suspended sentences of imprisonment and lashes.

.

A group that tosses LGBT and non-Muslims off roof tops.

.

A group that Obama set it up a deal to allow them to gain NUKES.

.

The same ones that chant DEATH TO AMERICA & NON-MUSLIMS.

The group that your Democrat Party loves and supports even tho it would murder an 1/2 of the Democrat Party and rape the every female and boy child, and have Feminist killed after gang raping .

Maybe lot of you liberals who are just left of center need to open your eyes and understand what the Democrat Party is willing to do for votes for Power.

THOT PATROLLED

Anonymous No. 30804 1531159795

Why is it anyone's business what Iran chooses to do with thots on their own soil? Get patrolled she admitted right there that she wasn't a trained dancer and she was just making slightly lewd videos on instagram and she got patrolled by the superior sharia force of justice. Nothing to see here. Good thing they put an end to this should serve as a lesson for thot behavior and promotion of idiot culture.

We have the same thing in the United States of America: If a man or woman writes stories or draws drawings, even with mere pencil and paper, and even if only kept to themselves, which are "obscene", they are subject to many years in prison.

What you do in the bedroom isn't your choice. The government decides what you can and cannot do, and bodily harm and emotional harm have nothing to do with it. As a citizen, you belong to your government. Here, in the United States, we have our own Sharia.

Every country has Sharia, and while the truth is different in every country, the truth is true wherever it is to be true.

We here in the United States have Sharia law as well, no different from any Muslim country - except our own rules are a bit different. If you write a dirty story having in it persons below the legal age of your state, or draw drawings purely invented from your mind, likewise so-called obscene, then you will go to prison for many years, even though you did it in the privacy of your own bedroom, and alone, doing none any bodily harm.

The reasoning is the same in both Iran and the United States, the elites (here, the Supreme Court, which vacations with billionaires - pay no mind to that) gain special exemptions from regulations, here, because the judges deem their filth to be of artistic value. In Iran, they bribe in a different way, with direct cash payments. These nations are the same in every way, and they cannot be distinguished by the educated man.

Good, we have much to learn from the Mullahs, it's obvious their wisdom is far greater than that of our leaders.
