It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye. Or so the old saying goes, but this tragedy in Texas just goes to show that when horseplay goes wrong, the results could be far worse than just being blinded. Two men and a 16-year-old girl were just having fun and taking selfies at a Houston apartment when a tragic accident happened. They were said to have played with a gun, unfortunately, leading to the girl being fatally shot.
Conroe police say the girl died at the scene of the incident on Tuesday. Police believe that the teen and the man were just taking selfies and playing with the handgun when the weapon discharged.

Note: Federal law says you have to be 21 to own a pistol.
So once again we have a clear example of Criminals/thugs having access to a firearm where honest citizen are impeded or stopped by laws that a Criminal would never consider following.

Time to level the playing field.
If you have no violent Felonies, or any physical type convictions in the last 10 years you should be able to carry a firearm for self defense…..
WITHOUT needing a State's or City 's Approval.
However, if you are a convicted felon, or a person with a documented unstable violent, behavior you should be given 10 to 20 years hard labor without parole depending on the attempted crime. (shooting of said violent offenders only requiring a independent CSI review.)
