Border Patrol Busts Illegal Aliens Hidden Inside Moving Boxes Marked ‘FRAGILE’

The United States of America's Customs and Border Protection (CBP) were in for a shock this weekend after they discovered a human smuggling operation involving illegal aliens in Laredo, Texas being transported inside of moving boxes marked “FRAGILE,” in the back it a tractor-trailer.

The incident occurred along Interstate 35 when the truck came to an inspection checkpoint, which is now equipped with state-of-the-art x-ray technology as per the Trump Administration’s crackdown on human smuggling, child sex trafficking, and narcotics trafficking, that scanned the vehicle.

In the cargo area of the back of the truck, the Border Patrol Agent noticed blips on his screen in the shape of human figures, which prompted Agents to then examine the contents of the truck.

As they opened the rear hatch, they saw several cardboard boxes, sealed for shipping, which were marked “FRAGILE,” as if the contents inside were valuable if not easily destroyed.

When agents approached the boxes to cut them open, they were stunned to discover thirteen males and one female, all of whom appeared to be Hispanic in descent, packed inside the boxes as if they were cargo.

The driver of the truck, a United States citizen, was then taken into custody and charged for the illegal smuggling of humans across interstate lines, according to local FOX News affiliate Channel 45.

Each of those people discovered inside the boxes turned out to be an illegal alien. This prompted CBP to contact the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agency and take them into custody, where they will be further identified against the ICE database to determine if any of those inside the boxes have been previously deported, or have outstanding warrants for their arrest.

Those who were in fact deported prior will face federal charges of illegal re-entry, which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

If any of the illegals detained have warrants, they will be transported to the law enforcement jurisdiction where they await trial, pending an ICE detainer for deportation proceedings after they serve their sentence.

Those without previous deportations or outstanding warrants will be fast-tracked for removal from the United States of America by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency as soon as possible.

Members of the public who have information about foreign fugitives are urged to contact ICE by calling the ICE tip line at 1-866-347-2423 or internationally at 001-1802-872-6199.

They can also submit a tip over the internet by completing ICE’s online form by clicking here.

You can also contact the Laredo Sector of the United States of America's Customs and Border Protection directly by calling toll free at 1-800-343-1994 and providing tips.

“The men and women of the United States Border Patrol remain determined not only to protect the nation’s borders from illicit activity but ensure that those who cross illegally are treated humanely. The U.S. Border Patrol will continue in the disruption and deterrence of any careless tactics utilized by smugglers,” said Laredo Sector Acting Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens.

Once again, it shows that illegal aliens will continue to create new means of disguising themselves to gain unlawful entry into the United States of America, where many of those illegal aliens will continue to pursue a life of crime while in our country.
