An Ohio judge lost his patience with a convicted man for being too talkative in court and disobeying his orders for him to shut up. The pissed off judge instructed the man’s mouth to be taped shut as a result on Tuesday during his sentencing.
The man continued to speak and disregard the judge’s repeated warnings to shut up.

Footage from the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court, John John Russo is seen ordering Franklyn Williams, a convicted robber, to “shut your mouth” after he appeared to be having a chat with his lawyers.
The feisty judge said to the man: “Mr. Williams, I’m the judge in the matter, shut your mouth and I will tell you when you can talk.”
The judge then ordered the officers to tape the 32-year-old man’s mouth shut for disobeying his orders to stop talking. In a strange development, that did not appear to stop the man from talking, tape and all, prompting the officers to put a second piece of red tape over the man’s mouth.
The liberal American Civil Liberties Union came out to condemn such treatment on Williams on Wednesday.
Social media users have mixed reactions to the odd court incident.

you have to admit that this is yet another black man who has not even got the good sense to recognize that he has done wrong and should try and be nice so the judge might also be nice.
Instead, he will just act like a nonsensical animal who has no sense at all.
Any defendant in the USA has a US Constitutional Right to see and question his accuser.
They should setup a safer Legal way that would to have removed the defendant and place him in a Video Audio Conference room wired with the court room.
Then MUTE him as needed.
32943 you were reading my mind! video proceedings would have been perfect. He could just rant away looking like even more a fool all whilst muted. lol
Some "defendants" are just too stupid for their own good!
Can't they just have the defendant removed and do the proceedings without them if they are being that disruptive? #REDTAPELIVESMATTER
