California - Good Samaritan Busted Pervert Taking Upskirt Photos of Women

An alert and firm bystander’s simple heroics foiled the dirty attempts of a pervert man to victimize women in skirts and dresses in a Target outlet by taking up-skirt photos of them in Cypress, California. As a result, the pervert was arrested by the authorities.

It all started when Ismael Duarte noticed that the man got close to his teenaged daughter with his phone out and put in the camera mode. The phone was held low and pointed up in the direction of the teen’s skirt. Duarte then decided to make some defensive moves and blocked the pervert from getting close to his daughter.

Things didn’t end there, as minutes later while Duarte and his family stood in line, he again noticed the bald man in a tank top strike again targeting another potential victim. The suspect was then bending down and apparently recording video up to another woman’s skirt.

Duarte played Good Samaritan and kicked the cell phone from the suspect later identified as 29-year-old Jorge Ibarra.

He didn’t stop there and along with his wife, also ran after Ibarra to snap photos of him and his license plate. The actions of the Duarte couple proved crucial for the police to eventually capture Ibarra and file charges against him.

Further investigation also revealed Target security tape showing Ibarra placing his cell phone on the ground near other women in the Cypress Target outlet that same night. While police also added that earlier that day at a Target in Cerritos, CA, Ibarra also used his cell phone to inappropriately videotape and take pictures of women there.

Police talked to two victims and several witnesses. Ibarra was charged with invasion of privacy.
