A nasty incident unfolded on Tuesday in Putnam County, there’s no doubt that the attackers were no amateurs. Up until now they’re on the run. The ill-fated incident was confirmed by Putnam County Sheriff’s office to Fox 5 Atlanta, he also pointed out that two prison guards were killed by the inmates who escaped.
It’s alleged that the prisoners were on work duty before they decided to turn the tables around. The opportunity to travel on a prison bus rarely presents itself and in this instance, the inmates put on a show that saw the prison guards overwhelmed and finally overpowered.
The inmates killed the guards without hesitation and ran as reported by 11Alive. The police authorities are on alert as they search for the two deadly men who unleashed the brutal attack in southeast of Atlanta. Putnam County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman, Teresa Slade, said. She also revealed that a witness saw the men escape in a dark green Honda.
