Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will face US President Donald Trump at the UN General Assembly later this week. The terrorist attack over the weekend in Iran that killed 25 people during a military parade is certain to be brought up again.

Just before leaving Teheran for New York, Mr Rouhani vowed to "not let this crime stand," before adding: "It is absolutely clear to us who committed this crime… and whom they are linked to."

The Iranian ayatollahs have blamed the Saudis helped by their regional allies and backed by the US for the atrocities. Mr Rouhani stated that “a Gulf country had supported the financial, weaponry and political needs.

"The small puppet countries in the region are backed by America, and the US is provoking them and giving them the necessary capabilities."

During her appearance on the various political shows on Sunday, the White House’s assigned UN Ambassador Ms Nikki Haley was asked about the accusations and claimed it was time for the ayatollahs to face the music.

Ms Haley said the Iranian regime had "oppressed his people for a long time".

"He's got the Iranian people… protesting, every ounce of money that goes into Iran goes into his military, he has oppressed his people for a long time and he needs to look at his own base to figure out where that's coming from."

"He can blame us all he wants. The thing he's got to do is look in the mirror."

Meanwhile a video released by ISIS shows three men waiting in a car while the military parade in Ahvaz starts. The terrorists are dressed as members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and discuss the importance of ‘jihad’ (holy war).

Both an anti-government Arab group called the Ahvaz National Resistance and the terrorist group Islamic State (ISIS) have both claimed responsibility for the killings. The Iranian regime however blamed many nations and has even called in the ambassadors of EU countries like Denmark and Holland whom they blame for ‘sheltering terrorist groups.’

The Danish and Dutch governments have stated the Iranian accusations are ‘baseless’.
