The Craziest Questions From President Trump's New York Press Conference (Video)

President Trump appeared in New York after returning from his trip to the United Nations today. The press conference was held to discuss his United Nations General Assembly trip as well as the "new of the day". You can watch the full broadcast below or if you prefer I'll be taking some highlights from the speech and summarizing what President Trump said.

It is absolutely crazy how much energy Trump has at his age with how much traveling, speaking, and other presidential duties he does. He spoke two days in a row at the United Nations General Assembly once on Tuesday and on Wednesday he spoke with the U.N. Security Council on Counter-Proliferation. Less then 12 hours later, he would arrive in New York and immediately hold an hour and a half long press conference so that the American people knew where things are standing with the country's business after the important trip to the world stage in Europe.

Of course, what all the reporters were eager to ask was how he felt about the viral sound bite of his speech drawing some laughter at the U.N. General Assembly. When asked how he felt, Trump explained, "They weren’t laughing at me, they were laughing with me. We were having fun." You can see the original viral clip as well as his response today below:

With all of the important progress such as the peace talks between North and South Korea, the press was more interested in catching another good sound bite of the President saying something about the Kavanaugh allegations that would make him appear sexist and ignorant. Naturally, it was CNN reporter Jim Acosta that asked Trump whether "one of our female colleagues" could be called on after he questioned the president himself.

"What does he mean by that," Trump asked in response to Acosta's stomach-churning white-knighting. The pair conversed further as Trump repeatedly asked him to "explain" his comment. Acosta said he thought "it would be great if a female reporter would ask you a question about this issue" as if the president never calls on female reporters. The White House Press Secretary herself is female, the wonderful Sarah Sanders.

Eventually, Trump responded to the ridiculous question which was more like stating the obvious: "I wouldn’t mind that at all, no." The President added, "Wouldn't make any difference to me." Contrary to CNN's constant slandering of Trump, he is not a sexist and you could argue he has done a lot for women just by raising the powerful Ivanka Trump who is a beacon for female success and dare I say it, equality. After Acosta finally yielded the floor, Trump called on a female reporter next.

At one point in the press conference, President Trump went after Democrats hard saying, "The Democrats are obstructionists. It's a big, fat con job." President Trump even spoke of Kavanaugh's accusers saying, "They have a major chance to speak. Whoever is given a chance."

Trump brought up an interesting point about where the country stands today with a simple hypothetical. "If we brought George Washington here, and we said we have George Washington, the Democrats would vote against him," Trump said. "And he may have had a bad past, who knows."

One female reporter went directly after Trump's character by asking how he felt about "the dozen or so" accusations against him. Trump quickly responded, "I've been accused. I've been accused. False accusations. And I believe it was four women you can check with Sean Hannity, you can check with Fox because they covered it very strongly." The reporter tries to add something and Trump says, "Excuse me. Excuse me. I was accused by four or five women who got paid a lot of money to make up stories about me. We caught them, and the mainstream media refused to put it on television."

He went continued, "They refused to even write about it. There were four women, there may be more, I think the number was four or five, but one had a mortgage paid off her house for $52,000, another one had other things happen, and the one that reported it I believe was offered $750,000 to say bad things about me. And she's the one who reported it, this woman is incredible. She reported it."

Back to the topic of Kavanaugh, news broke as this story was being published that the Ex-boyfriend of the third accuser filed a restraining order against her. "She was threatening my family, threatening my wife and threatening to do harm to my baby,” Richard Vinneccy said. “I know a lot about her. She’s not credible at all. Not at all."

It will be interesting to see where all these accusations land, it has become obvious that the #MeToo movement grew into something nefarious when it began being used as a political weapon to target opponents. It isn't that hard after all to pay someone a large sum who is desperate for money and get them to make up a story.

ACOSTA makes the news Q&A interesting.

But only from the stand point how who low and far will a Democrat Socialist mouth piece go to grab some attention.
