[ Editor's Note 12pm EST: PaddyPower now has Kavanaugh being confirmed at 8/11, Even odds for not ]
The story which has dominated US political news for weeks on end is about to reach fever pitch later today in a small Senate committee room.
Judge Brett Kavanaugh, the man by US President Donald Trump for a vacant post on the Supreme Court will testify alongside a woman accusing him of sexual assault.
Although Mr Kavanaugh has denied allegations by Ms Christine Blasey Ford, the growing number of other women that have since come forwards is proving to become a tricky pathway for the Republican party.

US President Trump earlier this week called the hearings an "important day in the history of our country."
Mr Trump's grand bargain with his evangelic base (their votes in exchange for a SCOTUS nominee of their dreams) is in danger of becoming a tricky weighed option with a crucial mid-term vote just five weeks away.
The federal judge's odds of getting the confirmation from lawmakers that seemed to be ‘a walk in the park’ just weeks ago, is now shrinking by the minute.

Polls show that support for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh fell to its lowest levels ever since more women have come forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct. Worryingly for the Grand ‘Ole Party, Republican women are the key reason for that fall.
The Republican Senators will have a political choice to make after the hearing of Ms Ford. If she is deemed credible, they can keep supporting Judge Kavanaugh but will have to face anger on the other side which might result in a higher turnout for the upcoming Midterm elections. On the other hand, could they squander their shot of changing the balance of the Supreme Court for decades to come?

The latest Marist poll shows that a large majority of Americans believe that if Judge Kavanaugh did indeed attack Ms Ford, he should not be confirmed. More importantly, 60% of eligible voting Americans say that if Ms Ford's allegations are true, Mr Kavanaugh isn't fit to sit on the country's highest court.
However, a majority of Republicans voters (54%) feel that the judge should be confirmed no matter what.
According to PredictIt, an online political prediction market, the betting odds that Judge Kavanaugh would be confirmed to the Supreme Court dropped below 50 percent since the third woman came forward.

THIS IS COMPLETE AND TOTAL BULLSHIT!!! THE PROOF THAT THIS IS SOLELY POLITICALLY MOTIVATED IS THE 36 YEAR DELAY IN MAKING THE ACCUSATION. SHE DIDN'T COME FORWARD OUT OF ANY MOTIVATION OF SELF WORTH OR BEING VICTIMIZED WHEN IT ALLEGEDLY HAPPENED OR IN THE 36 YEAR SPAN OF TIME THAT FOLLOWED. ONLY WHEN KAVANAUGH WAS NOMINATED DID IT STIR ANY EMOTION. IF SHE DIDNT' COME FORWARD IN ALL THOSE YEARS IN SEARCH OF JUSTICE, WHY NOW? POLITICAL MOTIVATION IS WHAT SET THE GEARS IN MOTION. NOTHING ELSE!!!

I was raped over six billion times by Bernie Sanders in 1985, I will go public with this if he runs for president next election. Listen and believe, women never lie.
t. Woman with a political agenda and a need for attention before dying of old age
A quick check into her past shows she was a party girl, loose & easy. Most often drunk & many times to the point of incapacitation.
The good Judge however has never acted in such a manner. No high school binge drinking parties & no frat house keggers either.
yeah what about that pic online of her passed out on a picnic table outside with liquor bottles all over the place and n clothes on, but a piece of cloth ran up the crack of her ass?!! she gives the impression of an mkultra victim more than a teenager who got her boob touched by another teen.
