Sorry SJWs, Franchise Producer Shoots Down Idea Of “Woman James Bond”

This will certainly break the hearts of some women or most of the so-called social justice warrior type of women, but there seems to be no chance in hell or in the big screen that iconic character James Bond 007 will ever be a woman.

Barbara Broccoli, the executive producer of Bond movies for a long time now and the daughter of the franchise creator, Albert Broccoli, has declared with utmost certainty that no amount of protests from the SJW crowd will make her change her decision. 007 is a man and it’s bound to stay that way.

Broccoli made the announcement in light of the fact that James Bond film #25 already started shooting this month. The latest franchise installment will be shown in theaters on February 14 next year. It will also mark the last time James Bond will be played by current 007 actor Daniel Craig.

Craig’s last turn as the British secret agent has sparked speculations- and hope for the SJWs especially women- that the next 007 stars after Craig will be a woman.

Broccoli has effectively dashed those hopes and expectations from critics and the SJW crowd. She said that if they want a female secret agent to grace the silver screen, then they should start their own franchise.

Broccoli said firmly: “Bond is male. He’s a male character. He was written as a male and I think he’ll probably stay as a male. And that’s fine. We don’t have to turn male characters into women. Let’s just create more female characters and make those story fit those female characters.”

What Broccoli is willing to “concede” is her openness to having a female writer or director for the succeeding Bond films. She also said that as a female executive producer, what she’s exerting efforts to ensure it for the movie to veer away from “screen eye candy” women to star in the franchise. Instead, she wants more involved, capable women characters that would embody the modern woman.

Broccoli shared: “I’ve tried to do my part, and I think particularly with the Daniel films, they’ve become much more current in terms of the way women are viewed.”
