London - Knife Attacks Kill Three Teens In Two Days As Crime Wave Continues Under Khan

The violent crime wave in Khan’s London continues with the tragic stabbing of three teens over the weekend even as a top-ranking police official claimed that knife crime is “under control.”

A 17-year-old boy was killed just outside of a busy London Underground station and just hours after another 15-year-old boy was slain only yards away from his home on Saturday.

The 15-year-old boy has been identified as Jay Hughes who was stabbed just about 100 yards from his home. He was attacked outside a chicken soup in Lewisham, south-east London.

Mere hours after Hughes’ fatal stabbing, an unidentified 17-year-old boy died after being stabbed outside Clapham South station in south-west-London.

On Friday, a 16-year-old boy was stabbed on New Kent Road in Southwark, also in south London.

The total number of deaths from violent crime in London this year climbed to 117, exceeding the total of last year.

The fresh killings came just as the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, Cressida Dick insisted that knife crime in the city has “plateaued” and even played down fears that officers may be losing control of peace and order.

Detective Chief Inspector Chris Soole from the Homicide and Major Crime Command is seeking the public’s help for any information related to Hughes’ killing. He described the stabbing incident as an “awful premeditated attack on a young boy who sadly lost his life as a result.”

Hughes’ aunt, 32-year-old Rochelle grieves his untimely passing sharing that her nephew was not involved with drugs, and was just a regular teenager who loved riding his mountain bike, and was brilliant in art. She said he wanted to be a cartoonist.

What was most heartbreaking for the aunt was that the boy only went out to get some food, and tragically “never came back.”

Residents are calling out the attention of Mayor Sadiq Khan over the spate of knife violence, urging him to take some action, especially since the teens’ stabbing comes after a knife incident also took place in Sony’s London Headquarters.
